Announced the first edition of NEM Zagreb focused on TV Writing Contest which aims to find aspiring screenwriters in two categories:

scripted (drama, thriller, crime, fantasy, SF, comedy)
unscripted (game show, factual reality, reality, docuseries)
Whether you are an experienced writer looking to bring your script to life or a potential new star of screenwriting, this is a perfect opportunity for presenting your work. If your goal is to share your vision and storytelling and influence the current TV and VOD market, this is a chance for you to showcase your project. The goal of this contest is to connect creators of TV content with opportunities in the industry and provide them with the access to big TV industry names that are searching for fresh ideas.

TV Writing Contest Agenda:

Creative Badge Zagreb entitles you to enter a TV Writing Contest. Check all NEM Zagreb prices. After the payment, you will receive a link for submitting your projects (1x Scripted and/or 1x Unscripted per person)
TV project for the Scripted category have to be submitted online and sent through our website as a PDF file in English containing Logline, Plot Summary and Part of the Script and/or TV project for the Unscripted category have to be submitted online and sent through our web as a PDF file in English containing Logline, Plot Summary and Part of the Show
The jury will base their selection on ratings in three criteria: Idea, Writing and Monetization.
Thirty (30) applications from each category will be chosen in the preselection round by an Independent Jury (blind selection from anonymous submissions)
The materials will be forwarded both to our Independent Jury and TV Writing Contest Sponsors who will choose ten (10) applicants from each category
Top ten (10) applicants from each category will be granted the opportunity of arranged meetings with TV Writing Contest Sponsors
Top three (3) applicants from each category will be chosen by the TV Writing Contest Sponsors for an opportunity to pitch live at NEM Zagreb as part of the closing ceremony in the main Panel room
One winner from each category will win our big prize – 5.000,00€!
All submitted materials will be available in the projects archive after NEM Zagreb 2019 for all TV Writing Contest Sponsors to look into and potentially reach out to the authors
