At Mia (Rome, October 16/20), was announced the coproduction with Rai, France TV and ZDF for the production of period drama biopic series Leonardo and mistery drama Sopravvissuti.
Among these titles also announced the spy series Mirage (in collaboration with Rai, ZDF and France TV) plus the local adaptation of Jules Verne Around the world in 80 days.
Leonardo will be produced by Lux Vide in collaboration with Rai Fiction and Big Light Productions.
The series will be directed by Daniel Percival (The Man in the High Castle) and the main character will be Aidan Turner (Lo Hobbit, Poldark) in the role of Leonardo. Italian actor Giancarlo Giannini will be the Verrocchio, Leonardo's master.
