A two-day event of testimonies, performances, workshops, meetings and debates that will take place on Sunday, May 14 and Monday, May 15 in Milan, at National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci”.
Sky, which has always been committed to the issues of inclusion and diversity, has chosen to support Lidia Dice... and the project “Children ≠ Parents” to plan this important new initiative together, a moment of confrontation to raise awareness on such important issues.
The event is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, May 14 at 11 a.m. with performances by choreographer Macia del Prete and actor Domenico Cuomo. This will be followed a moment dedicated to Mother's Day, then the focus will move to art with an interview with Omar Hassan, and the telling of sports stories with champions such as Sara Gama and Giorgio Minisini with Daniele Cassioli, as well as a debate that will delve into the theme of gender equality, and will feature journalist and writer Francesca Barra and economist Azzurra Rinaldi. The day continues with a discussion on freedom in the digital age with Father Paolo Benanti and one on biological, foster and adoptive fatherhood with singer-songwriter Niccolò Agliardi and comedian Antonio Ornano. There will also be a musical moment entrusted to Tommy Kuti and a performance by actor Vinicio Marchioni.
Monday, May 15, International Day of Families, kicks off at 10 a.m. with Amalia Ercoli Finzi and Elvina Finzi, a mother-daughter discussion between two generations of women scientists. This will be followed by more sports stories told by young champions and an in-depth look at racism and anti-Semitism with Michele Sarfatti. Focus on digital inclusion and the Sky Up project featuring guests Salvatore Aranzulla and tech influencer and digital entrepreneur Fjona Cackalli. Also, an in-depth look at inclusive language with linguists Vera Gheno and Elena Loewenthal and comedian Pierluca Mariti, as well as a focus on autism with Nico Acampora, founder of PizzAut. There will also be a discussion on inclusion in the working world with Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli and Paralympic athlete and President of Bionic People Alessandro Ossola. Space will also be given to music with a performance by Paola Gioia Kaze Formisano.
