ProSiebenSat1 Germany is rumoured to be developing a local adaptation of highly successful Austrian reality format Forsthaus Rampensau (Tr. Stage Hogs’ Forest House). The series premiered on ATV in 2022 and was quickly renewed. Set in the Carinthian Alps, nine celebrity duos battle it out in comical challenges and elimination rounds, competing for a cash prize. The German adaptation is likely to be shot back-to-back with the latest Austrian season. Streamer Joyn has previously aired the Austrian original in Germany to great success. The Austrian format is produced by Madame Zheng Production AT.
