The highly anticipated new edition of dating docu-reality Temptation Island is coming back on Monday, June 26 in prime time on Canale 5. Its premiere recorded 3.5m viewers and an audience share of 26.14%.
The program stars seven young, unmarried couples without children who want to test the strenght of their relationship. The goal is to find an answer to basic questions like: is life as a couple the life I want? Is my significant other the right person to build a life together with?
This year’s participants are: Gabriela, 19, and Joseph, 24, who have been together for seven years; Alessia, 32, and David, 39, who have been together for eleven years; Vittoria, 32, and Daniele, 33, who have been together for four years; Isabella, 26, and Manu, 27, who have been together for three and a half years; Ale, 31, and Federico, 31, who have been together for three years; Francesca, 23, and Manuel, 30, who have been together for two and a half years; and Perla, 25, and Mirko, 26, who have been together for five years.
Their journey kicks off once again in the beautiful resort of Is Morous Relais in southern Sardinia. Here, in the picturesque Mediterranean landscape, the seven couples will separate into two different villages for 21 days.
28 singles (14 boys in the girlfriends' village and 14 girls in the boyfriends' village) will try to make them reflect by confronting them about their love stories and the solidity of their feelings.
Filippo Bisciglia will once again take on his role as narrator of the events, and is ready to support the couples during their whole experience there. The “confrontation bonfires” will be essential, as always, to give the participants an opportunity to talk about their journey and to discover new revelations about their significant others through videos showing the events happening in their respective villages.
Only in the final confrontation bonfire do the couples finally meet to discuss, try to clarify their choices and positions and choose whether to break up or leave the program hand in hand, more united and in love than before.
Temptation Island is produced by Fascino PGT for Mediaset, edited by Raffaella Mennoia; Claudia Ciaramella is executive producer; Studio Daq is responsible for set design: Anahi Ricca handles costumes; Tommaso Biciocchi is director of photography; Andrea Vicario is director of the show.
