Various news, a long-awaited return of some artists and confirmation of some of the programs that have made the fortune of the Rai networks were announced by the board.
Returning Shows
Confirmed many hit shows like Carlo Conti from September 22 with Tale e Quale Show, Milly Carlucci for the new season of Dancing with the Stars airing on Rai1 from Saturday, October 21st to December 23rd, Amadeus (from September 10 to February 5) with his quiz show Affari Tuoi in access prime time.
Antonella Clerici will present The Voice Kids, Amadeus will also host the entertainment musical show Suzuki Arena and Sanremo Giovani(December 20), joined by i Tim Music Awards held by Carlo Conti and Vanessa Incontrada. As usual, the winners of Sanremo Giovani will have access to the 74th edition Sanremo Festival confirmed on February 2024.
New Shows
Among the most anticipated news: Pino Insegno will host in access prime time the classical game show Il Mercante in Fiera from September 18 to December. The show previously broadcast by Mediaset has moved to Rai. From January 1, 2024 Insegno will succeed Flavio Insinna as host of the long-running game show L’Eredità, broadcast daily at 18.45 on Rai1. This new season will also mark the return Caterina Balivo with a new entertainment program in the afternoon titled La Volta Buona starting from September 11th. Confirmed Antonella Clerici with her daily magazine È Sempre Mezzogiorno. Blu Yazmine will produce the Italian adaptation of game show The Floor, while Max Giusti will present a new comedy show titled Veramente Falso.
Talk show Belve held by Francesca Fagnani is back with a double appointment on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and also confirmed the return of Alessia Marcuzzi a new season of Boomerissima. Marco Lioni will present the daily game show Reazione a Catena until December 31. Stefano De Martino will host entertainment show Bar Stella on Thursday, December 14 and 21.
AD Sergio Rossi talked about the success of Fiorello with his daily morning show Viva Rai 2, but he didn't present the new season: “Fiorello has created one of the most successful programs, one of the most innovative show with an incredibly new formula that we are lucky to have at our disposal. Rosario would like to continue, but along the way [Via Asiago ndr] people live there and there are condominiums. We will try to negotiate with the Via Asiago condominiums to find a solution that will allow Rosario to resume this broadcast.”
