NEM Contest is coming back to the third edition of NEM Zagreb. World-renowned experts and decision-makers as jury members will carefully examine, evaluate, and give feedback to every submitted project. Three contest finalists from each category will have the opportunity to present their ideas during live pitching, a chance to win 5000€ prize awarded to the winners of each category and engage in fully funded trips to similar events in Europe as part of market exchange program with the purpose of further promotion and/or sale of their project.

Authors from CEE countries have free entry until September 19th 2023 after which the price for participation will be 100€ until final submission deadline on October 19th. Applicants can register here by choosing the Badge Contestant option and submit their ideas after filling out the submission form for the category/s they are applying for. Each applicant can submit a maximum of one project per category. By registering and submitting the project, participants receive a badge for full access to NEM Zagreb 2023.

Projects can be submitted in four categories:
Scripted series in all genres: drama, thriller, crime, fantasy, SF, comedy etc.
Scripted feature-length film (primarily for a streaming audience) in all genres: drama, thriller, romance, crime, fantasy, SF, comedy etc.
Documentary (non-scripted series)/Feature-length documentary film
Non-scripted entertainment format
