NATPE Global has secured a multi-faceted partnership with the Worldwide Audiovisual Women's Association (WAWA) to advance women in the global audiovisual sector. They will team up to host the Wonder Women Mentorship program comprised of 10-12 female students from audio visual programs at Florida International University, with Maggie Salas-Amaro Castellon, Director of Canela Kids, spearheading recruitment. WAWA will manage the program and all mentees will receive complimentary access to NATPE Global.
In addition, WAWA will have a significant market presence in January including a pavilion and will launch an annual invite-only WAWA-NATPE Wonder Women Lunch, featuring finalists for the 2023 WAWA Woman of the Year Award in an inspiring afternoon of networking and engaging conversation.Moderated by Cynthia Hudson, SVP & General Manager of CNN en Español, the exclusive panel will examine the industry shifts, business models, and adaptation over the last several years and explore the unprecedented changes the industry has faced.
