On Wednesday November 22 debuts on Canale 5 talent show Io Canto Generation. 10 years after the last edition, the talent show hosted by Gerry Scotti returns with the protagonists that are children with passion for the music and a great desire to get involved. 6 episodes produced internally by RTI. Under the artistic direction of Roberto Cenci, every week, 24 children (aged 10 to 15) are divided into six teams to compete in a singing competition. The teams are led by 6 protagonists of Italian music: Iva Zanicchi, Fausto Leali, Anna Tatangelo, Mietta, Cristina Scuccia and Benedetta Caretta, winner of the 2nd edition of "Io Canto". Kids have the opportunity to duet with their team leaders, learning from their experience and drawing on different musical repertoires. It will be a surprising exchange between two generations, between those who are experiencing the world of music for the first time and those who are already a leading figure in it. Judged by 4 great artists: Al Bano, Orietta Berti, Michelle Hunziker and Claudio Amendola. In each episode, challenge after challenge, a ranking will be drawn up determined by the votes of the judges which can be overturned by the preferences of the studio audience's vote.


On Thursday November 23 debuts new edition of entertainment show Zelig hosted by Claudio Bisio and Vanessa Incontrada completely dedicated to Italian comical artists.


On Friday November 24 debuts the 9th edition of variety-game show Ciao Darwin hosted by Paolo Bonolis and Luca Laurenti. There are two competing teams of about 50 people each, usually made up of people who fit certain opposing stereotypes. The games involve contestants competing in acts of skill, intelligence and general knowledge, with deliberately ridiculous results, trying to mimic the mechanism of natural selection theorized by Charles Darwin. Produced by RTI, this season will be split in two parts, first part aired in fall and the second part next spring on Canale 5 as well.
