Media Ranch Founder & CEO, Sophie Ferron, has announced that the Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) will host an international edition of the Horsepower incubator in late February. The event, organized by Lithuanian creative enterprise The Ethnic Kitchen Productions in collaboration with Media Ranch, the Embassy of Canada to Lithuania, and LRT, will focus on training participants in the creation and pitching of global unscripted TV formats. Horsepower, a talent incubator developed by Media Ranch, aims to nurture new talent in the unscripted television format creation. This marks the first international edition of Horsepower, previously held in Montreal, Canada since its inception in 2018. The workshops in Vilnius will be led by Media Ranch's Head of Storytelling, Philip Kalin-Hajdu. The program will conclude with pitches to decision-makers from LRT and Media Ranch, with LRT selecting a project for co-development, and Media Ranch potentially becoming the international distributor for one or more projects. Ferron expressed excitement about launching the first international version of Horsepower and anticipates the emergence of exceptional TV formats.
