Zeppelin, a division of Banijay Iberia, is launching a new talent show called Baila Como Puedas (Dance If You Can) on La 1, in collaboration with RTVE. Hosted by Anne Igartiburu, the show brings together sixteen professional dancers who will mentor eight celebrities with no dance experience in various dance styles. The contestants will live and train together at the Baila Como Puedas Academy for 10 weeks.
In the first episode, celebrities including Álvaro Muñoz Escassi, Ana Guerra, and others select professional dance partners. Each week, they will prepare choreography and perform, with judges Beatriz Luengo, Norma Duval, and others providing feedback. Eliminated dancers can switch partners and there's a chance for them to re-enter the competition. The winning professional dancer receives €50,000.
Miguel Martín, Zeppelin's Managing Director, highlights the show's novelty and its focus on the professional dancers. James Townley, Banijay's Chief Content Officer, praises Zeppelin's track record in creating groundbreaking entertainment formats like "Baila Como Puedas."
Zeppelin's portfolio includes hit shows like Big Brother Spain, LOL: Last One Laughing, and original formats such as TimeZone and The Bridge, which have gained international acclaim.
