Formerly Sales Manager at BBC Studios Eniela Bella Hired by PBS
PBS International has selected Eniela Bella, formerly a sales manager at BBC Studios (BBCS), to lead their business in France and Germany as the director of coproduction finance and sales.
Eniela Bella brings a wealth of experience in sales and co-financing across diverse global markets. Previously, she held the position of sales manager for Central and Eastern Europe, Italy, and the Middle East and North Africa at BBCS before joining PBS International. Her background includes senior roles at Drive Media Rights, Twofour Group, and Hat Trick Productions.
In her new capacity, based in London, Bella will develop strategies, project forecasts, and negotiate co-financing arrangements for non-scripted ventures, with a primary focus on the French and German markets. PBS International emphasizes Bella's role in nurturing existing partnerships while forging new connections to bolster production financing opportunities.
Bella will also contribute to PBS International's sales division, overseeing Eastern Europe, and will represent the company at MipTV in April. PBS International specializes in distributing factual and children's programming, encompassing works by Ken Burns, engaging PBS Kids series, and documentaries from both PBS and third-party sources.
Tracy Beckett, PBS International's commissioning editor for coproductions and acquisitions, expressed confidence in Bella's appointment, citing her extensive background and successful track record in sales and coproduction financing. Beckett believes Bella will be instrumental in advancing the company's international growth strategy.
