MIPTV announced that Mark Endemaño, an expert in industry transformation and a seasoned consultant in global studios, will deliver the opening keynote at the upcoming MIPTV Spring International Television Market in Cannes from 8-10 April 2024.

Endemaño's presentation, titled ‘Back To The Future - bridging the past and present to shape tomorrow's TV landscape,’ will provide valuable insights for navigating the current transformative period in television, drawing on historical industry principles to forecast future trends.

Scheduled for Monday, 8 April at 11:00 on the Riviera Stage in the Palais des Festivals, Endemaño's findings will leverage his 25 years of experience in the Media, Entertainment, and Technology sectors, along with insights from AlixPartners Predictions Report 2024 titled ‘Appetite For Disruption.’

As a senior partner at AlixPartners’ London Office, Endemaño brings a wealth of experience, having held senior roles at Disney for over a decade and serving as CEO of Move AI, a tech company specializing in next-generation 3D animation software. He joined AlixPartners in 2022, co-leading the Media & Entertainment practice for EMEA.

MIPTV's three-day co-production and content market will host over 130 exhibitors and attract producers and buyers from approximately 80 countries in Cannes. The event will follow a major pre-opening weekend on 6-7 April, featuring MIPDOC and MIPFORMATS strands focusing on documentary, factual, and format communities.

The 2024 conference program will include additional keynotes, analysis, and MIPLAB tracks covering key areas such as Finance, AI, and FAST. The MIP GLOBAL FAST&AVOD Summit will explore international opportunities within this sector's explosive growth. Additionally, the International Series Festival CANNESERIES will run alongside MIPTV from 5-10 April. One accreditation covers all activities across all days.
