MIPTV starts today and takes place in Cannes from April 8th to 10th. More than 100 exhibitors are participating , along with producers and buyers from 80 countries. As announced by RXFrance this is the last spring market and despite all the old discussion about it, everybody looks sad for the decision , but let’s see the press conference in a few days and we will keep you informed about the decisions and the new organisations for MipLondon to be held at the end of February 2025.

The weekend was full of conference and panels during two major events: MIPFORMATS and MIPDOC inside the palais.

The MIPTV market kicked off the weekend of April 6-7 with MIPDOC and MIPFORMATS, creating two days of networking.

Several cases were discussed at MIPFORMATS starting with the Korean Formats super session presented by David Ciaramella, head of consultancy agency Boxed Off, and the trend was undoubtedly the mystery reality game show from the case of The Bloody Game to Still Alive by Something Special to Apartment 404 by CJENM.
In the afternoon of Sunday April 7 all the formats addicted were gathered in Riviera 8 as Mipformats Pitch presented the dove finalists for the event sponsored by ZDF.
The winner of the competition was The Stupid House pitched by Sergio Lopez.
