Pixcom, Keshet International, and Thruline Entertainment have officially announced Emily VanCamp (known for her roles in Marvel’s The Falcon and Winter Soldier, Revenge, and The Resident) as the lead star and executive producer of a new legal drama tailored for both Canadian and international television audiences.

Titled Prejudice and crafted by Celeste Parr (renowned for her work on Ethel, Hudson & Rex, and Plan B), the series follows Liesl Wellington, portrayed by VanCamp, a promising litigator in Toronto whose professional success and marriage to a Senator are jeopardized when her past as a sex worker is exposed to the public. Facing rejection from her professional circle and society at large, Liesl embarks on establishing her own law firm committed to advocating for marginalized voices.

In recent years, Keshet International has demonstrated its prowess in developing and producing globally acclaimed content. Notable projects include the Apple TV+ series Echo3, the Disney+ and National Geographic collaboration A Small Light, and the critically lauded limited drama Our Boys for HBO. Additionally, KI has co-produced successful titles such as Suspicion and Rough Diamonds for various platforms.
