FormatBiz | Io Canto Family Debuts on Canale 5: Showcasing Young Talents Aged 10 to 15

Canale 5 to air the entertainment series Io Canto Family spin-off of the classical hit show Io Canto Generation broadacast recently by Mediaset. The first of the five evenings will be broadcast on Monday, May 20 in prime time.

Io Canto Family is the version of the hit singing show Io Canto dedicated to young talents between the ages of 10 and 15, accompanied by a parent or close relative, ready to share the stage and amaze the audience with their voices and emotions.

In each episode, six teams, led by six highly experienced and talented leaders, compete in front of a jury:Al Bano, legend of Italian music, Orietta Berti, Claudio Amendola, versatile actor and music lover, and Fabio Rovazzi, talented artist and record producer,

Iva Zanicchi, queen of Italian song, Fausto Leali, the unforgettable voice of Italian soul, Anna Tatangelo, talented pop performer, Mietta, with her extraordinary versatility, Cristina Scuccia, the former nun who conquered the world with her voice, and Benedetta Caretta, the promise of Italian music, will guide their teams through engaging musical challenges, demonstrating that the passion for music can truly unite generations.

This edition is hosted by Michelle Hunziker, while the previous version was hosted by Gerry Scotti (now busy with the new edition of The Wheel of Fortune in access prime time).
