Iberseries & Platino Industria Announces Projects for the 2024 Co-production and Financing Forum
Iberseries & Platino Industria has announced the selection of projects for the Co-production and Financing Forum, set to take place on October 1-2, 2024, as part of its fourth edition's activities.
A total of 20 projects, including series and feature films in advanced development stages, have been selected from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, USA, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, and Uruguay. The participating production companies are Bixagu Entertainment, Caponeto, Filmakers Monkeys, Kapow, La Charito Films, La Maldita, Laberinto Cine, Lavorágine Films, Nanouk Films, Non Stop Studios, Parox, Plano a Plano, Punta Fina, Rhayuela Films, Rizoma Producciones, SPi, and TV ON Producciones.

The representatives of these projects will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one meetings, allowing them to connect with potential co-producers, creative partners, financiers, and international sales agents among the accredited professionals attending the event. This forum aims to promote the development of high-production projects and strengthen co-production models between key players in the audiovisual sector across Latin America and Europe.

Supported by ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, the Co-production and Financing Forum will facilitate encounters with international partners for co-production, co-financing, distribution, and broadcasting. The goal is to foster projects with high production values and reinforce collaboration between significant audiovisual industry stakeholders on both sides of the Atlantic.

Iberseries & Platino Industria 2024 will feature 10 series projects and 10 feature film projects, each in advanced development with at least 30% of their production costs already secured. The event, the largest international gathering of the Ibero-American audiovisual industry, will be held from October 1-4 at Matadero Madrid. Organized by EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya in collaboration with FIPCA, the event receives support from the Community of Madrid, Madrid City Council, ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, and sponsorship from Madrid Film Office and Film Madrid, among other partners.
