Preview of Sul più bello - La Serie at Giffoni Festival
At the Giffoni Film Festival, Sul più bello - La Serie premiered as the sequel to the beloved teen film series. Produced by Eagle Pictures and Prime Video, this episodic fourth chapter follows Marta, a young woman with cystic fibrosis, as she navigates adulthood with enthusiasm and determination. The romantic comedy, starring Ludovica Francesconi, delves into themes of love, friendship, and personal growth.

Producer and co-writer Roberto Proia praised the Giffoni audience, calling them "the most wonderful audience in the world." He attended the festival with director Francesca Marino and main cast members Ludovica Francesconi, Jozef Gjura, Gaja Masciale, Diego Giangrasso, and newcomers Denise Capezza and Giulio Cristini to present the first episode.

Director Marino noted the characters' growth and more realistic, mature storytelling compared to the films. Jozef Gjura highlighted the rare opportunity to develop his character, while Ludovica Francesconi reflected on her personal growth alongside Marta.

New characters include Aurora (Denise Capezza), who has a complex relationship with Marta's best friend Federica (Gaja Masciale), and Nicola (Giulio Cristini), a solitary figure who changes after meeting Marta. The series intertwines themes of love, loneliness, and illness, with Marino revealing that other illnesses will also be addressed in unique ways.
