Over the course of the five-day festival, several exciting highlights are lined up:
The Substance Premiere (October 30, 7:00 PM, Cinema Centrale): Directed by Coralie Fargeat and starring Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley, The Substance is an intense horror film that has already garnered acclaim at Cannes. The film will debut in Italian theaters on October 30.
Special Screening of The Beast (November 1, 1:30 PM, Cinema Centrale): Bertrand Bonello’s The Beast, a contemporary sci-fi adaptation of a Henry James novella featuring Léa Seydoux and George Mackay, will be screened, followed by a panel discussion on artificial intelligence in cinema and animation. Bonello will be joined by artist LRNZ (Lorenzo Ceccotti), moderated by Simone Soranna.
Snot and Splash Book Presentation (October 30, 9:30-10:30 AM, Auditorium San Girolamo): Ahead of the film release in Italian theaters (November 14), the illustrated book Snot and Splash – The Mystery of the Missing Holes, based on the live-action movie by Teemu Nikki, will be presented. Authors Manlio Castagna and illustrator Gianluca Garofalo will host a special workshop for children and families.
Exclusive Poster Signing for Everything Everywhere All at Once: To celebrate the film’s arrival on IWONDERFULL, four unique posters designed by Sio, Dado, Fraffrog, and Giacomo Bevilacqua will be available at the Gigaciao stand. Fans can meet the artists for exclusive signings on October 31 and November 2 at Palazzo delle Dediche.

Additionally, the first of four documentaries exploring the phenomenon of Lucca Comics & Games will begin production during the event. These films are part of a project led by Andrea Romeo and Manlio Castagna, in collaboration with Lucca Crea and produced by All At Once.
