Last weekend, TF1 celebrated a strong debut with the launch of its new show Le Maître du jeux (The Master of the Game). The program, hosted by Laurent Ruquier, captivated a large audience, positioning TF1 as a strong contender in the primetime slot.
The first segment of the show, which aired from 21:12 to 22:06, drew in an impressive 2.67 million viewers, securing a 14.6% audience share. The momentum carried into the second part, from 22:15 to 23:36, which garnered 2.50 million viewers, boosting the share to 19.0%.
The performance of the show was particularly remarkable among the key demographic of women aged 50 and under responsible for purchases (FRDA-50). The first part achieved a striking 29.7% share in this target audience, while the second part soared to 35.9%.
In Le Maître du jeux twelve celebrities are invited to a remote house, tasked with discovering the identity of the famous host who invited them. However, there is a twist—one of them is secretly there to sabotage the investigation. The star-studded cast for this first episode included Elsa Bois, Max Boublil, Cartman, Valérie Damidot, Frédéric Diefenthal, Arnaud Ducret and Claire Francisci-Ducret, Jeanfi Janssens, Kody, Chantal Ladesou, Sarah Mortensen, and Francis Perrin.
