Seriencamp Festival, Germany's premier event for series lovers and television professionals, is set to make its grand return from June 3 to 6, 2025, marking the eleventh edition of this prestigious festival. Following its tenth anniversary celebration last year, the event will once again take over Cologne with screenings, panels, and workshops dedicated to the future of television in the age of streaming.

Seriencamp has become a pivotal meeting point for both fans and industry professionals alike, attracting international talent and facilitating significant networking opportunities. Alongside the festival, the Seriencamp Conference will run from June 3 to 5, offering industry experts a platform to discuss the most pressing trends and challenges facing the global television industry.

Seriencamp Festival promises a packed program of national and international premieres, welcoming creators, stars, and fans to celebrate new and groundbreaking television series. Last year's event saw tremendous growth, and the upcoming edition is expected to continue building on that momentum, offering unique opportunities for fans to engage with creators through panels, discussions, and special events. The festival, which is free to attend, will showcase approximately 30 series from around the world.

Festival Director Simone Schellmann expressed her enthusiasm for the event’s future: "We want to establish ourselves even better in Cologne and NRW, build on existing partnerships, continue networking, and seek out new local partners. The number eleven holds special significance here in Cologne, and I believe our 11th edition will be another important step in establishing Seriencamp as a permanent fixture in NRW’s cultural and creative scene."

As a vital part of the festival, the Seriencamp Conference will attract over 800 international professionals, making it one of Germany’s top platforms for discussing the future of television. ZDF Studios, the main partner of the conference, will support the event, which will cover key industry topics including artificial intelligence in media production, international co-productions, and emerging financing models.

Gerhard Maier, Artistic Director of Seriencamp Conference, emphasized the importance of addressing the challenges the TV industry faces: "In 2025, there’s still much for the industry to talk about: from the growing importance of co-productions to the reform of film funding, from sustainable disruption through technological innovations to the new market situation."

The "Story Exchange" project market will offer attendees an opportunity to present their series ideas to potential collaborators and international companies, fostering new partnerships and promoting co-production opportunities.
