The organizers of NEM Zagreb have revealed the full list of finalists from NEM Awards 2024, a contest which primarily serves for creating opportunities for new TV and film projects from CEE, co-productions between CEE countries and co-production between low and high-production capacity countries.

Best Pre-Development Project Award Powered by HAVC and Council of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award finalists will be presented during first and second day of NEM Zagreb 2024. All winners will be announced on December 11, 2024.

1. Best Pre-Development Project Award powered by HAVC is a category for screenwriters who have an idea for a TV script, regardless of their experience and the finalists depending on four categories are:

a) Documentary series/Feature-length film
• Réka Pigniczky - Concrete Jungle Dreams: The Human Impact of Housing Projects
• Sanja Matovina Janski - The Laundresses from Preko
• Timea Huszár & Daniel Washington - Underneath the Waves
b) Entertainment format
• Darko Karanfilov - Scratchcards
• Đorđe Stanković - The Right Question
• Sean Patterson- Around the World in New York
c) Scripted series
• Ivan Knežević - Angela
• Lana Sabljarić - Mirabelle, Pickles & Oliver
• Teodora Markova & Staņislavs Tokalovs - The Last Divorce of Communism
d) Scripted feature length film
• Andreas Relster - Monsters of Art
• Anastasia Pashkevich - Unfettered
• Selena Stanković - Mileva: Frau Einstein

2. Council Of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award is intended to foster creative collaborations in series co-production and empower independent producers and the finalists are:
• Antitalent - Jinx
• Arcadia Media – Letters to Leonard
• Harald House, Born Wild, Locomotive – Brux
• Joyrider Kft. – Imperial Vampire Committee
• Little Big Talents – Witness
• Stefi – The Left Hand of Venus
• Sacrebleu Productions – The Chimera Brigade
• NiraPro – List of Small Things
• Visual Walkabout & Wunderlust – And Then We Took Berlin
• Vertice 360 & Rastika – Red Handed

3. Best Finished TV Series in the CEE Award is a prestigious acknowledgment of excellence, celebrating fully realized and completed works in TV series originating from Central and Eastern Europe, and the finalists are:
