Atresmedia Showcases Two Hit Series at Berlinale
Atresmedia arrives at Berlinale with two of its most acclaimed dramas, Santuario (Sanctuary) and Honor (Your Honor Spanish Adaptation), both selected for the prestigious Series Market Selects section. These productions are among 17 global picks recognized for their quality and international potential.

As part of the Berlinale selection, both series will be screened for industry professionals, connecting potential buyers with distributors. Atresmedia Sales, the global distributor, will also attend the Berlinale Series Market from February 16–19, reinforcing its global presence.

Produced by Atresmedia with Pokeepsie Films, Santuario stars Aura Garrido and Lucía Guerrero. The story follows Valle, an AI specialist facing an ethical dilemma, and Pilar, a pregnant woman drawn into the mysteries of the Sanctuary.

A co-production with Portocabo, Honor stars Darío Grandinetti in a gripping legal thriller based on the Israeli format Kvodo. The story follows a judge caught in a moral crisis when his son is involved in a fatal accident.

Atresmedia continues to set the standard for Spanish-language fiction, with globally recognized hits like Money Heist, Veneno, and Velvet. In 2024, Antena 3 led the Spanish TV market, with Sueños de Libertad (Dreams of Freedom) as the top-rated series. Atresplayer, Atresmedia's streaming platform, remains a key driver of new Spanish fiction.

Atresmedia Sales has built a global reputation for quality content, with productions such as Locked Up, The Cook of Castamar, The Gypsy Bride, and Cocaine Coast. Its latest international releases include Zorras, Show Yourself, Cristo y Rey, and Vestidas de Azul (Veneno S2).
