New stories will unfold in the shadows of Il Blocco, intersecting with the themes of emotional, familial, sexual, and criminal emancipation that were central to Blocco 181. At the heart of the narrative are three young protagonists from different backgrounds, bound together by something stronger than their individual affiliations:
Bea (Laura Osma – El Chapo), a South American girl torn between her loyalty to La Misa, her responsibilities to her family, and her desire for a different life.
Ludo (Alessandro Piavani – Blanca, House of Gucci, The Mafia Kills Only in Summer – The Series), who, after months away, returns to Milan haunted by guilt and harboring a secret.
Madhi (Andrea Dodero – The Good Mothers, Thou Shalt Not Hate, L’Allieva), who suddenly finds himself at the head of Il Blocco and must make tough decisions while grappling with emotions he had desperately tried to suppress.
A new reality will emerge in the shadows of Il Blocco: Kasba, a youthful and chaotic movement driven by music—trap, drill, and techno. Its young members chase dreams of freedom and friendship but soon clash with the harsh realities of Il Blocco. At the helm of Kasba is Zak (Fahd Triki), a dreamer with a passion for trap music, hoping to break into the industry but facing constant friction with Il Blocco. His closest friend Nael (Noè Batita), like a brother to him, is restless and impulsive, often acting recklessly and fueling tensions with the other residents of Il Blocco.
Among the returning characters is Salmo as Snake, who has erased his old identity, leaving everything behind. Yet, the pull of revenge still lingers. Snake will take center stage in episode six, BÈN DÀN, a standalone story focused entirely on his character, featuring Elisa Wong and Alessandro Borghi.
Also making a comeback is Alessandro Tedeschi (Petra, Curon, Non Mentire) as Lorenzo, the former dealer who, after a near-death experience, has found a newfound spirituality and seeks to embrace his second chance at life. But as the saying goes, a leopard never changes its spots…
The cast also includes Tommaso Donadoni as Giacomo, a wealthy Milanese boy who will become involved in Ludo’s life, and Anna Manuelli as Isabella, Ludo’s sister.
