Mediaset has officially announced that a brand-new dating show, The Couple, will soon premiere on Canale 5. "This exciting format blends competition, relationships, emotions, and unexpected twists, with Ilary Blasi set to host the show " said the note.

The protagonists of The Couple will include both well-known personalities and everyday people. Participants will compete strictly in pairs—real couples, but also relatives, friends, colleagues, and even long-time rivals. All will be forced into a shared living experience filled with surprises, strategic moves, and a significant cash prize to win and defend.

Contestants will face intense psychological and physical challenges, battling not only against their opponents but also against their own limits.
