The psychological drama centers on Elisabetta, a brilliant young lawyer from Trieste. After successfully defending a charismatic university professor against sexual assault charges, she is soon approached by him again—this time to file a lawsuit against the university that, while reinstating him, has demoted him to a marginal position. At the same time, unsettling events begin to unfold in Elisabetta’s life. Her past resurfaces through eerie signals, elusive presences, and a creeping sense of danger. She starts to fear that her former partner—an abusive man once convicted of stalking her—may have resumed his obsessive pursuit.
