MF Yapım is preparing a new romantic comedy series titled Çift Kişilik Oda (Double Room), expected to premiere at the end of March and continue throughout the summer season. Casting discussions are currently underway. The series is based on the Korean title 킹더랜드 (King the Land).
Following the success of Bahar—the Turkish adaptation of the Korean drama Doctor Cha—MF Yapım is now working on another adaptation from South Korea, this time based on King the Land broadcast by Netflix. The local version, Çift Kişilik Oda, will air on the Turkish network NOW.
Penned by Ayşe Üner Kutlu, the series tells a compelling story that begins with a chance encounter between Nilüfer, a woman heading to a job interview at a prestigious hotel, and Kaan, who has returned to the country to claim his rightful inheritance. Their paths cross, sparking a series of emotional and unexpected events.
The series will be directed by Yusuf Pirhasan, with lead roles currently being cast.
