Jambika Docs has announced that Her Name is Nanny Nellie, directed by Australian Aboriginal filmmaker Daniel King, has been acquired by Al Jazeera English for its prestigious Witness documentary strand. The film will premiere globally on April 16 and also air on Al Jazeera Balkans.

Her Name is Nanny Nellie follows King’s journey to uncover the truth about his grandmother’s life and legacy. “My mother and I are deeply honored to share our grandmother’s story of truth-telling with the world,” King said.
