Global producer and distributor Endemol Shine Group today announced that Big Brother Italy will be the first format to use the innovative new cloud-based production workflow system, built on Microsoft Azure since the two companies joined forces last year.
Produced by Endemol Shine Italy, their fifteenth series of Big Brother will launch later this month and will use the new system for video, audio and editing.
The Big Brother Italy house has 106 cameras and 96 wil be in high definition using the new technology. With the innovative system, filming can now be controlled remotely and will streamline the production process. Also integrated in the technology is an automated sound mixing and faster editing system.

Reality juggernaut Big Brother originally launched in the Netherlands in 1999 and this year 23 series are confirmed across 19 countries including major markets such as UK, USA, Brazil, India and many more. Earlier this year the first ever celebrity version aired in the US on CBS and launched as the number one show across all television, consistently beating live coverage of the Winter Olympics.
