It was announced today by Variety that Italian production company Wildside already known for the success of The Young Pope and My Brilliant Friend will produce a TV series about Audrey Hepburn.
Wildside, owned by International group Fremantle, han announced that the project is based on a treatment co-written by Luca Dotti, Hepburn's son and Italian journalist and writer Luigi Spinola. Dotti's father was an Italian psychiatrist Andrea Dotti, whom Audrey Hepburn married in 1970 and divorced 10 years later.
The two writers co-authored the bestseller Audrey at Home a biography and cooking book about recipes and unknown anecdotes of the celeb Hollywood's actress.
