Global Agency believes the strong family stories in its drama series will pique buyers’ interests at NATPE.
In <em>Gulperi</em> [in picture], a mother attempts to reconnect with her children after a stint in jail, while in <em>Evermore</em> a woman tries to win over her mother-in-law. “After several years seeing the performance of our stories in the market, we believe that both Gulperi and Evermore have the ingredients that the Latin audience likes,” says Ivan Sanchez, sales director for Latin America at Global Agency.
“For 2019, we plan to continue providing more hours of quality Turkish content to the broadcasters in the region, but what we are most excited about is the premiere of our talent show <em>The Legend</em>,” he says. “It will start soon in Colombia, and our goal is to make this innovative format a worldwide hit.”
Sanchez notes, “Turkish series are still very big in LatAm, and luckily Global Agency has always been a reference.”
