Telemundo International Studios and Movistar+ [in picture] announced today a strategic multi-year co-production partnership to produce premium limited series for the U.S. and international markets. Under the agreement, the Telemundo Network will have the exclusive rights for the US; Movistar+ will have the exclusive rights for Spain.

A division of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, Telemundo International Studios was founded in 2016 to produce short, high-quality programs designed to meet the growing demand in international markets and from emerging platforms for high-end, short-format scripted series. Telemundo International Studios works in close collaboration with Telemundo Global Studios, the network's U.S. production unit, which produces an average of 900 hours of programming per year, across Series, Premium and Super Series formats.
