The hilarious panel show A League of Their Own - produced by CPL Productions - has won the BAFTA for best Comedy Entertainment Program at the 2019 BAFTA Television Awards.
‘A League of Their Own’, which blends sports, comedy and entertainment into one high-energy show, is hosted by James Corden and now commissioned for its 14th season for Sky One (UK). It has won many other awards in the UK and internationally, including Best Gameshow at the Danish TV Awards 2018, Best Sports Program at the Television and Radio Industry Club Awards (UK) 2018, Unmissable Entertainment Show of the Year at the Heatworld Unmissable TV Awards (UK) 2017, and a 2014 BAFTA award for Best Entertainment Program.
The format has also proved successful in Germany (Sky) and Denmark (Kanal 5).
