Record TV has ordered a second season of Armoza Formats’ prime-time singing competition series The Four in Brazil.
The new season is slated to air early next year. The Four has now been licensed in 12 countries, most recently in Colombia, where it will air on Canal 1. The show was the top trending series on social media across all of LatAm throughout the first season.
Developed and produced by Armoza Formats, the show starts where other music competitions end: by announcing the four finalists. Each subsequent episode will see the finalists challenged by newcomers hungry to steal their spot at the top. The series, which is hosted by Xuxa, culminates with the final four battling against each other to be crowned champion.
Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, said: “It has been a great experience working with Record TV and bringing The Four to life for their audiences—with an incredibly strong host, popular musical talents and incredible contestants, The Four Brazil made waves nationally and across the continent. We are thrilled to be continuing this partnership and can’t wait to see what the second season will bring.”
