CJ ENM landed new deals in Korea and Denmark for the remake of music and dating hybrid show Love at First Song (LAFS), adding it to the list of licensed countries: after Vietnam, Malaysia, and the US
Strong Productions in Denmark, a partner company of NENT Studios is working on the Danish version while in Korea, general entertainment channel XtvN will produce the show to air in August this year.
Love at First Song debuted last year in Vietnam (VTV3) with number 1 ratings in the time slot and boosting network ratings up by 30%. The show has recently aired in Malaysia TV3, channel owned by Media Prima, creating a great online buzz with more than 1M views. Currently it is also in development in the US with John Legend and American Idol producer Simon Lythgoe. Format created by CJ ENM, Love at First Song is a show that matches people looking for their soulmates through music taste. The matched pair will practice together without seeing each other until their first duet stage. On the day of the duet, they get to see each other and decide whether to stop or go on to compete with other couples for the final competition
