All3 Media signed non scripted deal in Canada with different titles

Leading independent distributor all3media international has signed new non-scripted deals in Canada, it announced today, with broadcasters securing a diverse range of factual specials.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) has acquired a variety of content including over 18 hours of North One’s Travel Man: 48 Hours in…, produced for Channel 4, UK (36 x 30 mins & 3 x 1 hr) for the CBC Gem streaming service. Each episode follows acclaimed director, author and BAFTA winning actor Richard Ayoade jetting off to an exciting location with famous friends. Also included in the deal is Raw TV’s documentary Bollywood: The World’s Biggest Film Industry (2 x 1 hour) produced for BBC Two, this ambitious and glossy series features Bollywood obsessive Anita Rani uncovering just how the amazing industry works, the series has also been picked up for documentary Channel.

CBC has also signed Hansala Productions’ Meghan & Harry: A Royal Baby Story, a one-hour special for TLC USA delivering the inside story on the latest member of the British aristocracy. They have also acquired Spun Gold TV’s one-hour special Secrets of the Royal Babies, produced for ITV, UK, which reveals the extraordinary tales of royal births, motherhood and infancy that have paved the way for the family’s newest arrival.

CBC’s French-language counterpart, Radio Canada, has picked up Drowning in Plastic (1 x 90’/2 x 1-hour), the acclaimed documentary produced by Raw TV for BBC One. Winner at the 2019 RTS Awards and New York Festivals Film & TV Awards, this timely and impactful feature follows science and wildlife presenter Liz Bonnin as she investigates the global environmental impact of marine plastic pollution.
