Mediaset Distribution, the distribution partner of MGE in Europe, has signed a deal in Greece with the international media and entertainment company, Antenna Group, for two of the most successful telenovelas of MGE’s catalogue: Amanda (109x45’) and the scripted format of If I were rich (105x45’).

Amanda and If I were Rich, are both Mega’s contents – the leading channel in Chile for 5 consecutive years – and have been successfully aired not only in Chile but internationally, so we are very confident they will captivate Antenna’s audiences as well”, commented Manuela Caputi, head of Mediaset Distribution.
Amanda narrates the story of Amanda Solis, is a young nurse who has just arrived to work in the farm of the Santa Cruz family. Her professionalism and charming allows her to quickly earned the appreciation and trust of the whole family, without anyone suspecting about her true intentions: take revenge on the Santa Cruz brothers who destroyed her life when 14 years ago they raped her as a teenager. Now she is ready and willing to look for justice, but her main obstacle will end up being her own heart. Amanda will be aired on Makedonia TV, part of Antenna Group, during the last quarter of 2019.
If I were Rich is a dramedy that spot the life of a group of people will change after winning a coveted lottery. Miguel, a lonely thief who keeps the lucky ticket he finds in Pascuala’s car and becomes her discreet benefactor to try to make her fall in love, before she finds out that she is one of the lucky winners. Nelson, immature and emotional, who lives in a small place and has been dreaming of winning a huge prize to purchase the local soccer team he is fan of since he was a child. And finally, Matilde and Tomás Varela, a couple of orphans who have lived a life marked by tragedy. When Matilde discovers that she can´t claim her prize because is underage appears Dante, an unreliable “prince charming” with an ambitious uncle. If I were Rich was acquired by Antenna Group as a scripted format and it is being produced by Kapa Studios.
Mediaset Distribution is the distribution arm of MGE in Europe, as a result of an alliance sealed last year between both companies that allows them to distribute their own catalogues in Europe and Latin America, respectively.
