Italia's Got Talent back in January
As reported in December, Sky Italia has signed a new four-year deal extension with Fremantle Italy and Syco Entertainment, to remain the exclusive home of The X Factor. The network has also extended their deal for Italia’s Got Talent for two further years. The entertainment series are two of Italy’s most successful international formats and flagship shows for Sky Uno and TV8.

The new season of Italia’s Got Talent, which concludes its current season with its live finale on March 22, will start in January 15 every Wednesday at 9.30pm. Frank Matano, Mara Maionchi, Federica Pellegrini, Joe Bastianich are the judges and Lodovica Comello the presenter.

The first Sky-branded edition of Italia’s Got Talent was dedicated to a wide variety of talents. It made its debut on Sky Uno in March, 2015 and has aired on TV8 since 2016.
Every year the Italia’s Got Talent team travels around Italy (from the North to the South for about 9,000 km) – with over 5 months of scouting and more than 10 months of production all geared towards identifying the most extraordinary talent, of all ages, and disciplines. More than 20,000 spectators participate in the live shows which are filmed in some of Italy’s most beautiful theatres. The opening episode of the current season of Italia’s Got Talent was watched by a combined audience of 4.2 million viewers in the first week. The series is the most viewed non-sport show ever on TV8
