Italia's Got Talent, the TV8 program produced by Fremantle Italy, will be on air on TV8 from January 15th 2020 every Wednesday at 9.30 pm, with 7 episodes of Auditions and one live Final.
For the new year, the talent will have a new entry in this edition on the panel of judges: directly from Masterchef Italia, the entrepreneur Joe Bastianich. At his side, we find the Olympic champion Federica Pellegrini, the queen of discography Mara Maionchi and the comic Frank Matano, veteran of the group in his fifth year behind the table.
For the fourth consecutive year, Lodovica Comello will be the host that will guide the jury and the public in search of the best talents in Italy.
As usual, the new jury has to select the most deserving talents who will take turns on the stage of Italia's Got Talent: among dancers, singers, imitators, illusionists, contortionists, tightrope walkers, comedians and trainers, each of them will have 100 seconds to receive 3 "yes" from the jury, so it can access the next stage of the race, or even better to deserve the highly coveted Golden Buzzer: placed at the center of the jury table, the golden button is available to Federica, Mara, Frank and Joe who have the opportunity to crush him, during the audition phase, only once to send a talent directly into the final. But in addition to promoting, the judges can also "reject" a performance by pressing the buzzer, the red button in front of each judge: with 4 "buzzes" the competitor must automatically stop his performance and listen the judges' opinion, which will determine the outcome of his race.
7 episodes of Auditions recorded in the theaters of Avellino, Milan and Vicenza. Lodovica from his privileged position behind the scenes encourages talents ready to perform to give their best, manage emotions and face their fears; its also the task of revealing curiosities and anecdotes about competitors in the race.
At the end of each episode of Auditions, the jury will have the arduous task of deciding which single talent, among all those who have passed the round, deserves the final. But this is not the only novelty of this edition: the audience also becomes the protagonist because it will have a Golden Buzzer at its disposal. At the end of the seventh episode, televote will be opened and the public will be able to vote and choose their finalist, officially becoming the twelfth finalist in the race.
At the end of the Auditions phase, the competition will close live from Rome with the final episode, in which 12 finalists will compete for the title of champion. To decree the winner of this 2020 edition will be the unquestionable judgment of the audience from home.
