Top Chef, NBCUniversal Formats’ hit culinary competition, will return with new seasons in two key territories in Latin America. Iconic culinary competition show will return in 2020 with a second season on Record TV in Brazil and a fifth season on Telemetro in Panama.
The format has been renewed in Brazil and in Panama, as confirmed to ttvnews by Ana Langenberg, SVP of Format Sales and Production at NBCU Formats, in Natpe Miami.
Produced by Sony-backed producer, Floresta, the second season of Top Chef Brazil will have 13 episodes and be hosted by chef Felipe Bronze, with Emmanuel Bassoleil, French chef, and Ailin Aleixo, food journalist, as judges. In addition, the format is returning to Panama with a fifth season of its original version, as well as a second one for its kids’ version, both set to air on Telemetro.
