Sanremo kicked off on Tuesday, and was the hot topic in Italy. for one week. This edition presented by Amadeus in collaboration with Fiorello was an extra large edition (8:30pm/2:00am) and was also the most watched event in the Italian television with an average share of 50% and 10million viewers.
The winner of the 70° edition was announced at 2am on Saturday 8th February: Diodato first, Gabbani second and Pinguini Tattici Nucleari in third position. Diodato won with the song Fai Rumore.
