On Sunday April 19, Rai 1 rerun episodes of drama series L’Allieva 2 (eng. The Pupil) based on the novel of Alessia Gazzola, won the prime time slot with 4.161 viewers (15.5%). As the set of the 3rd season was blocked due to Covid-19 emergency Rai 1 decided to broadcast the old series. At the moment, the series has been sold abroad among others in France, Germany, Japan, Spain and Turkey. Canale 5 talk show Live - Non È la D’Urso (produced by Videonews) recorded 2.632 viewers and 12.9% of share. Rai 2 talk show Che Tempo Che Fa (produced by L’Officina) scored 8.7%-8.2% while talk Non è l’Arena on La7 scored 6.1%-6.8%.
On Monday April 20, Rai 1 still leader with the rerun detective series Il Commissario Montalbano – Il gioco delle tre carte (Ita. Inspector Montalbano) which won the prime time slot with 5.904 viewers (21.3%) while Canale 5 movie Fantastic Beasts: The Crime of Grindelwald scored 3.444 viewers (14.3%). Rai 3 news current news show Report scored 2.863 viewers (9.9%) and Rete 4 talk show Quarta Repubblica achieved 1.6m/7.3%. In the same slot Rai 2 rerun gameshow Stasera Tutto È Possibile (fr. Vendredi, tout est permis) scored 1.3m/5.2%. In day time, dating and talk show Uomini & Donne (produced by Fascino PGT) is back on Canale 5 with a new refreshed version due to Covid-19 situation. In a daily stripped show (Mon-Fri) two hosts read messages from different people who’d like to meet and find love; as usual the voiceover of Maria De Filippi comments the stories. The first episode scored 3.088.000 viewers and 16.5% of share.
On Tuesday April 21, Rai 1 rerun music concert Stasera Laura – Ho Creduto in un Sogno won the prime time slot with 3.447 viewers (13.3%) while Canale 5 rerun miniseries Karol - A Man Who Became a Pope (produced by Taodue) scored 2.196 viewers (9.9%); the premiere of the drama aired by Canale 5 in 2005, scored over 12.5 million viewers (over 43% of share) becoming the most viewed Mediaset fiction ever. Rai 2 celebrated the Earth Day with the documentary Earth – Un giorno straordinario (produced by Koch Media and BBC Earth Films) which scored 1.162 viewers (4.1%).
