Israeli broadcaster Keshet 12 has commissioned a new series of classic quizshow Who Wants to be a Millionaire?.
The new instalment of the series is slated to premiere later this week, with filming and production on the show currently under way in Tel Aviv. Red Arrow-owned July August Productions is making the show.
The new season of Who Wants to be a Millionaire? will be hosted by veteran Israeli presenter Erez Tal, who has previously presented Wheel of Fortune, Big Brother and the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.
Distributed by Sony Pictures Television Formats, Who Wants to be a Millionaire? has aired in more than 120 countries and has been produced in over 80 languages.
The format, which originated on ITV in the UK, previously aired in Israel on Channel 2 from 1999 to 2003 and Channel 10 from 2005 to 2006.
