On September 15-24 the Virtual Screenings Autumn 2020 will display a renewed, fresh and techy design divided in five specific branded segments, VS MARKET, VS BILLBOARD, VS NEXT, VS FIGURES, and VS NEWS, which were created to offer a better organization of the content, allowing the attendees to find easier the different spaces within the online venue.
VS MARKET will host the exhibitor companies that will be divided in three different levels: Platinum, Gold and Bronze, depending on the number of shows they are offering to global buyers. Last May, there were 51 production and distribution companies, as well as service providers (localization, dubbing, post-production, etc.). More than 250 original content hours were presented.
Debuting in September, two innovative sections: VS BILLBOARD, which is a dynamic video library that highlights reels & trailers of the top exhibitors at the market, day by day; and VS NEXT, a selection of strategic panels, keynotes and executives testimonies about different topics.
VS FIGURES replaces Virtual Forum, one of the most commented sections the last May edition, showcasing four program rankings: “Most Watched of the Platform”, “Most Watch by Type of Content”, “Most Watched by Genre” and “Most Watch by Origin”. Last but not least, VS NEWS, where Virtual Screenings will promote its digital magazine and Daily Report, as well as the most important product news of the exhibitors.
For the next VS Autumn edition, the platform will add new improvements: as part of the new design, the home page will be adapted for better access to the different sections. In addition, the booths are being redesigned so that access to the video reels will be straight through the teasers of the displayed content. The other key point will be a concierge service that will offer a greater interaction between participants, buyers and sellers, resulting in new contacts and promoting virtual meetings during the event.
Under the “Live the VS Experience” concept, Virtual Screenings proposes a different space at a complex moment of the world and the industry. The goal is to provide an extremely efficient business tool to better understand international buyer decisions and trends.
Up to now, 25 exhibiting companies have confirmed their participation at the VS Market and Prensario expected to surpass the number of May edition (51). On the buyers’ side, more than 200 acquisitions, programming, producers and investors have already registered coming from the Americas (45%), EMEA (30%), APAC (20%) and others (5%).
