Thursday, September 17 2020, on Sky Uno debuted the Season 14 of talent show X-Factor Italia with 654.000 viewers and 3.07% of share (824.000 cumulative viewers, including On Demand). The show produced by Fremantle Italy scored a lower ratings than last year, it recorded 833.000 viewers and 3.82% of share (1.033.000 cumulative viewers, including On Demand) on Thursday, September 12 2019.
The talent hosted by Alessandro Cattelan debuted again with a completely new jury: Emma, Manuel Agnelli, Mika and Hell Raton in place of Mara Maionchi, Malika Ayane, Samuel and Sfera Ebbasta. Auditions, due to Coronavirus, take place without an audience in studio (as original format) in Teatro 5 of Cinecittà in Rome. The debut is the lowest in the last seven years; to find a worse result it is necessary to go back to the 7th edition in 2013, which started with 658.000 viewers (2.19%). In 2018 4.14%, in 2017 4.57%.
The day following the debut, TV8 (free to air channel of Sky) broadcasted in prime time slot the first same episode of Auditions which recorded 538.000 viewers and 2.8% of share.
