La 7 special episode of talk L’Aria Che Tira achieved 874.000 viewers (4.23%); TV8 cooking Masterchef scored 617.000 viewers (3.6%).

On Monday September 14, Rai 1 rerun detective series Il Commissario Montalbano – Una Faccenda Delicata won prime time slot with 3.700 viewers (19.06%) while Canale 5 premiered Season 5 of reality show Grande Fratello Vip (eng. Celebrity Big Brother) scored 2.833 viewers (18.99%). Rai 3 talk Presa Diretta 1.491 viewers (7.09%); Rete 4 talk Quarta Repubblica 777.000 viewers (4.75%); TV8 crime series Gomorra 3 669.000 viewers (3.2%); Sky Cinema Uno premiered drama series Petra with 262.000 viewers (1.14%), 746.000 viewers considering reruns, simulcast, on demand.

On Tuesday September 15, Rai 1 rerun detective series Il Commissario Montalbano – La Giostra degli Scambi won prime slot with 3.647 viewers (18.1%) while Canale 5 movie A Star is Born scored 2.789 viewers (15.2%). On Wednesday September 16, Rai 1 premiered new season of documentary Ulisse – Il Piacere della Scoperta which debuted with 3.134 viewers (15.89%) while Canale 5 premiered Season 8 of docu-reality Temptation Island with 2.958 viewers (18.78%), in overlap (9:32pm - 11:46pm) it scored 3.323.000 viewers (16.89%). Rai 2 medical drama The Good Doctor 3 closed with 1.676 viewers (7.21%) and 1.757 viewers (8.48%); Rai 3 current news Chi L’Ha Visto? 1.696 viewers (8.87%); La 7 documentary Atlantide 520.000 viewers (2.7%); Nove docu Avamposti 302.000 viewers (1.37%).

On Thursday September 17, Rai 1 crime drama series Nero a Metà won prime time slot with 4.223 viewers (21.1%) while Canale 5 quiz show Chi Vuol Essere Milionario? (produced by Fremantle Italy) scored 1.867 viewers (10.9%). Sky Uno premiered Season 14 of talent show X-Factor 2020 which started with 659.300 viewers (3.11%); Rete4 talk Dritto e Rovescio 971.000 viewers (6.2%); La 7 talk Piazzapulita 869.000 viewers (4.6%); Nove cooking Gino Cerca Chef (produced by Wavy, a Fremantle unit) with 334.000 viewers (1.5%).

On Friday September 18, Rai 1 premiered Season 10 of celebrity talent show Tale e Quale Show which won prime time slot with 3.524 viewers (18.9%) while Canale 5 reality show Grande Fratello Vip scored 2.440 viewers (14.8%). Rete 4 talk Quarto Grado 999.000 viewers (6.2%); Italia 1 documentary Freedom 824.000 viewers (4.7%); La 7 talk Propaganda Live 766.000 viewers (4.7%); TV8 premiered in free to air Season 14 of talent show X-Factor 2020 with 538.000 viewers (2.8%); Nove premiered new season of one man show Fratelli di Crozza with 1.088 viewers (5.1%); Real Time/+1 baking show Bake Off Italia (produced by Banijay Italia) 733.000 viewers (3.4%).

On Saturday September 19, head to head between Rai and Mediaset. Canale 5 talent show Tu Si Que Vales recorded 3.686 viewers (22.5%) while Rai 1 premiered Season 15 of celebrity dancing show Ballando con le Stelle which scored 3.415 viewers (22.1%); in overlap (9.20pm - 0.48am) Tu Si Que Vales recorded 3.682 viewers (22.6) while Ballando con le Stelle scored 3.565 viewers (21.88%). For Ballando con le Stelle is the best share debut in recent years, even if it clashes with the strongest show on Italian TV after C’è Posta per te. In detail, dancing show's debut scored 20.80% in 2016, 19.13% in 2017, 20.40% in 2018, 21.24% in 2019 and 22.12% this year. Competitor Tu Si Que Vales didn’t drop below 4 million from October 1, 2016. Ballando con le Stelle achieved an average of over 4 million until 11pm, resulting leader in prime time slot. The peaks of share was 27% at midnight with a continuously growing curve.
