Fremantle presents a new dating format Find Me Somebody To Love, created by Abot Hameiri and Reshet in Israel, is a brand-new dating format that has already launched on Reshet 13 as the highest rated show of the week for the channel.
Four single women put their lives and careers on hold, say goodbye to friends and family, delete their dating apps and move into an apartment together for a whole month. The goal? To find their true love. The ladies choose potential partners from a database which has been carefully put together by psychologists and dating experts.
Once they make their choice, their potential partner moves into the apartment with them for three days. In a world where people are used to swiping right or left, this is an intense ‘getting to know you’ period where couples are together 24/7 and have more time to get to know the other person.
All of the highs and lows of the relationship are observed from a control room by experts. The experts also set challenges and dates for the couples over the three days, to help them to get to know each other better. And of course, the four women become close and act as each other’s support networks – offering emotional support and advice.
At the end of the three days, the women decide whether they want their partners to stay for another three days or if they’d like to meet a new match.
Guy Hameiri, CEO, Abot Hameiri added: “Find Me Somebody To Love has a journey that every viewer can relate to and learn from. It’s a real experiment and a very honest and emotional format, and we are delighted with its brilliant launch on Reshet.”
Ami Glam, VP Head of Content, Reshet: "We are very proud of both the impressive launch and the great reviews of Find Me Somebody To Love. Together with Abot Hameiri we were able to develop and create a new storytelling of searching for love on TV. Rob Clark, Director of Global Entertainment, Fremantle commented: “This format is very different to ones we’ve seen before, it's a very clever and unique approach to dating.
