Restaurant business is commitment, sacrifice and passion. This year, the entire sector has been hit very hard by the Covid-19. Many restaurants, already in difficulty before the health emergency, risk closure.

Five family-run restaurants are the protagonists of the first edition of Riaccendiamo I fuochi (5x60'), new cooking show produced by EndemolShine Italy for Discovery Italy aired from 26 October every Monday at 21:25 on NOVE and available in streaming on Dplay.

Francesco Panella, restaurateur known by the audience thanks to the success of Little Big Italy and businessman, who successfully brought the Italian culinary tradition to New York, will support parents, children and siblings who share life and work and who risk losing everything if the activity does not work.

In each episode Panella, thanks to the help of an accomplice - a relative or a friend of the restaurant owner - will infiltrate undercover and with hidden cameras inside restaurants to observe closely and without filters the real problems of these activities. Finally, after bringing out all the problems, Panella will help restaurateurs and their families to find themselves and start a new journey.
