Based on hit dating show format First Date created by Twenty Twenty Productions, a Warner Bros Television Production company, Primo Appuntamento returns on Real Time with a fifteen-part new series starting from today, Tuesday, January 5.
The series will invite people from all walks of life from around the country, who are looking for love. Using a fixed-rig, the series will film new couples each week in a unique restaurant – where everyone is on a first date. From the moment they lay eyes on each other to their parting glance, the hour-long programmes will show every shared joke, faux pas and blossoming connection as the series aims to see first love unfolding.
In order to maintain close contact between the participants, the show hosted by Flavio Montrucchio has proceeded with swab tests on them due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Produced by Stand by Me for Discovery Italy, Primo Appuntamento Season 5 will air every Tuesday at 21.20 on Real Time and in streaming on Discovery+.
