Discovery + presents the sixth season of scripted reality series Alta Infedeltà (High Infidelity) on Friday, May 2021.

The new season is focused on the effects of lockdown and how the betrayal has changed in the time of the pandemic.

In each episode, there is one story with  three protagonists, told  through three points of view:  the lover, the betrayed,  the traitor. Each of the stories is  based on real events , but shown through reconstructions and interviews with actors who tell the story in first person. In these new episodes, the stories can't be separated from the world of social networks which, through the compulsive use of mobile phones, tablets and specific apps for serial traitors, puts a strain on the jealousy of the protagonists. In a crescendo of clues and unstoppable emotions, we discover what the two partners feel: jealousy, bitterness and revenge. How do couples deal with marital infidelity? Do they decide to start over by putting the past aside or do they turn the page and get back into the game? Compelling and curious, passionate and bizarre, sweet or dramatic, tragic or ironic, the stories are partly set in the lockdown period, a moment in which the sense of escape is very strong in the couple.
